ECCO Sko A/S is a Danish shoe manufacturer and retailer founded in 1963 by Karl Toosbuy, in Bredebro, Denmark. The company began with only the production of footwear but has since expanded into leather production, as well as accessories and small leather goods. ECCO opened its first retail store in Denmark in 1982. ECCO products are sold in 88 countries at 3,060 ECCO shops and shop-in-shops, and at more than 14,000 sales points around the world. The company is family-owned and employs 19,800 people worldwide.

ECCO started Australian Travel Guide campaigns with Connect China since January 2018. Lunar New Year is considered to be the most important holiday for Chinese people, which is the peak time for Chinese tourists visiting Australia. ECCO sponsored the Front Cover of Feb issue and Inside Full Page of March, April and May issues to expand their market sales to the inbound Chinese tourist market.

During the campaign period, over 280,000 Chinese tourists were engaged with ECCO’s brand information in hotels, tour buses and hire cars.

Who are the audiences?

The typical audience is aged from 30 to 49 years old. This group of people is likely to travel with their partners and spouses or with friends, and they are big spenders of luxury, skincare, healthcare, and maternal-infant products.

Where the magazine can be seen?

A distribution system of 16 hotels, 90 tour buses, and 150 rental cars in Sydney. Targeting both Group travellers and FIT travellers (Free & Independent Traveller) with 100,000 monthly impression.
