Ho! Ho! Ho! We are approaching Christmas again – the “most wonderful time of the year.” First and foremost, we’d like to thank all of our clients for continued trust in us and wish everyone a joyful Christmas period and COVID-Free 2021.
This year, we face a truly unprecedented situation with overwhelming challenges and even hardships, yet it’s still another fast-paced year. Even as we deal with this pandemic, our team at ConnectX remains laser-focused on the client’s needs and helps our clients achieve exponential business growth.
So, what are ConnectX 2020 highlights?
Two New Teams
In January this year, ConnectX has secured a strategic partnership with Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba and established a new association – Australia New Zealand Buyers Association (ANBA).
We have built a new team in Sydney, Australia, specializing in China’s cross-border & e-Commerce trade to help Australian businesses foster further growth and create more export opportunities. ANBA and Taobao Global will collaborate in the areas of B2B and B2C product promotions and integrated supply chain services to bring innovative Australia & New Zealand products to consumers across China；
We have also expanded our team size in Shanghai, China to develop B2B sales channels and provide TP services for ANZ brands.
Three B2B Events
To help brands build and expand distribution channels, ANBA held several B2B events including brand exhibitions, webinars, product training, etc. Through our intensive distribution network and support by Taobao Global, our member brands could have an excellent opportunity to present their products to more than 2000 global merchants/buyers.
Eight B2C Events
The lack of events taking place because of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected both brands and consumers’ social lives. Alternatives we organized eight major online events with Taobao Global–where mainland China consumers can view products and experiences, and purchase products straight away through our global buyers’ online stores.
Hundreds of B2C Live Streams
Since the establishment of ANBA, we organized more than 100 live streams for ANZ brands. and invited dozens of buyers to visit the brand headquarters, factories, and beauty salons. Through these live streams, brands are widely advertised and the volume of sales is far more than ordinary days.
The first year of ANBA not only witnessed unprecedented change in the world but also had incredible growth as a new association. In 2021, we’re planning an exciting Australia Buyers Summit and the one-year anniversary of ANBA – lookout for an announcement in early January. We will welcome all our existing and new member brands to join us and have a face to face communication with our top buyers.
